Meeting with the Fritz-Hüttinger-Foundation
We would like to thank Markus Wener and Sven Ederer from the Fritz-Hüttinger-Stiftung/Berthold Leibinger Stiftung GmbH for their visit and their longstanding and profound support to the Fritz-Hüttinger Energy-Efficient High-Frequency Electronics (EEH) professorship at INATECH at the The University of Freiburg.
The professorship is based on the generous donation of Gerda Ruf and Dr. Fritz Ruf. In the Biomimetic shell at the Technical Faculty, on August 5th, 2025, the first five years of the operation of the EEH were reviewed.
Topics such as the latest integrated circuits design results as well as the resource consumption of modern electronics were addressed by the oustanding team (Cristina Maurette Blasini, Max Mosig, Priyansh Shankhdhar, Alen Sebastian, David Strahringer, Manish Kumar Singh, Konstantin Kuliabin, Benjamin Amann, Julius Schneider) led by Prof. Rüdiger Quay. Special thanks to the Vice rector Prof. Stefan Rensing for his visit, his greatful support, and his kind explanations on sustainable engineering. We are looking forward to a sustainable future working on novel and sustainable concepts.
