Chair for Sustainability Assessment of Technical Systems

Rebekka Volk is professor for Sustainability Assessment of Technical Systems at the Faculty of Engineering at the Albert Ludwig University of Freiburg. Her research focuses on generating knowledge about technical systems, technologies, products, and materials in order to design them so that they meet needs in terms of performance and functionality, while also being more sustainable (than current systems) and contributing to the achievement of the UN's Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs).
