As is common practice at universities in the English-speaking world, German universities engage in efforts to establish and maintain contact with former graduates. Unlike many universities worldwide, however, the main purpose of these efforts is not to solicit donations. Instead, the primary interest lies in gradually building and expanding an elaborate network of relations between current students, alumni, the faculty and the department. This network functions as a valuable resource for upper-year students and recent graduates because alumni with professional experience can provide useful insight and practical advice for the transition into the workforce.

If you are an alumni of SSE study program we hope that you will have fond memories of your studies in Freiburg and that you are putting your knowledge and potential to good use. Wherever your interests and plans take you, we encourage you to stay in touch with the INATECH and with your Alma Mater, the University of Freiburg! In order to foster a sense of community between current students, academic staff and alumni, INATECH will regularly organize interesting events and activities. As INATECH continually seeks to improve its undergraduate and graduate programs, alumni are encouraged to submit feedback regarding the structure, content and organization of their former courses of study.
