 Visit of the members the Fritz-Hüttinger Professorship for Energy-Efficient High-Frequency Electronics of the University of Freiburg on July 18^th 2023 for review to the Fritz-Hüttinger foundation in Eberdingen-Hochdorf, and later to the application lab at Trumpf in Ditzingen.

The Fritz-Hüttinger professorship is happy to announce the winners of the:

at the end of the design course of the summer term 2023 of the University of Freiburg.

The challenge was to maximize the linear efficiency in parallel for four bands in the frequency range from 700 to 1100 MHz with a minimum power of 23 dBm for a given design example within ADS project library.

This resulted in a figure-of-merit, which is the frequency-weighted average of the linear efficiencies reached for the four bands 700 MHz, 850 MHz, 1000 MHz, and 1100 MHz:, while modulated with a complex signal. The solution included source and loadpull and harmonic considerations.

The PAEs was measured for -45 dBc of ACLR for linear operation at the four frequencies in parallel.
