In order to optimize the coordination of demand and supply for energy and auxiliary services in our increasingly complex electricity system, different markets have established, which are highly interrelated. We analyze these markets in different ways. We also investigate the impact of market proceedings on grid operation, for example if congestion management measures become necessary. We mainly do this through simulation. For this, the electricity market simulation model flexABLE - flexibility-oriented Agent-Based Laboratory for Electricity System Analysis has been developed, among other tools.
